Payment Upon Completion: Invoices must be paid in full immediately upon completion of the specified works.
Deposits: Larger-scale projects (e.g., construction or major decorating work) will require a structural deposit upfront to secure materials.
Late Payments: We reserve the right to charge late payment interest on outstanding amounts under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
3. Statutory 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
Right to Cancel: If you sign your contract at home, online, or over the phone, you possess a statutory 14-day cooling-off period to cancel without penalty under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Commencement: The 14-day window begins the calendar day immediately following your entry into the agreement.
Early Service Requests: If you explicitly request that work (such as emergency cleaning, gardening, or maintenance) begin before the 14 days expire, you must provide this instruction in writing. You will remain financially liable for any materials used and services rendered up to the exact point of cancellation.
Exemptions: Urgent emergency repairs or maintenance explicitly requested by the homeowner do not qualify for a cooling-off period. Custom-made or bespoke materials ordered specifically for your project cannot be fully refunded.
4. General Cancellation Policy
Standard Cancellations: For work scheduled outside of a cooling-off window, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the agreed deployment time.
Late Cancellation Fees: Cancellations made within less than 48 hours of scheduled cleaning, decorating, or gardening sessions will incur a flat fee to cover administrative planning and roster disruptions.
